I should explain what I mean.
The fact that this was unfortunately endemic to the platform in one form or another for the vast majority of its existence is fucking ghastly and abhorrent.
At the same time, there was some real humanity on there. There were some genuinely good and valuable interactions that the platform specifically enabled by the simple virtue of its design.
Well the article seems to be firmly placing blame on the website, but my question is, is anyone going after the parents who allowed their 11 year old unfettered access to the internet with a camera? At some point the parents need to have some culpability here as well.
