shit’s been fucked for package delivery for a while now. Even before the pandemic was companies pushing more and more unreasonable delivery times for a more and more entitled consumer base. Then the pandemic just skyrocketed delivery demand, with those inflated expectations of unreasonable times. And that demand never went back down as everyone got accustomed to getting just fuckin everything delivered.

and the climate crisis is just the pressure lid on top, worsening work conditions on delivery drivers while also keeping more people indoors wanting deliveries. I really hope it all abruptly stops to put things in perspective.
