Just wanted to do Amnytas for the weekly, but the meta simply didn’t start. That’s new to me.
Were you on the right time? Remember, with the DST switch they change to the other two-hour pattern (i.e. every meta that was at odd hours is now at even and vice versa).
Amnytas works fine for me, so if it is a bug it’s low-occurrence.

Yes, I specifically checked the wiki Event Timer to really doubly make sure, there was no meta going on. An entire squad stood there baffled. I checked again two hours later and 0 meta squads. I’ll again personally join the map again later and check it a third time.
DST in Germany ended on 2023-10-29 (2 weeks ago). You probably would have noticed by now, if the GW2wiki/Browser time is off by one hour, right?
Yeah I would’ve noticed. I think I knew what was going on. If a super fresh map spawns right before the meta starts, the meta…doesn’t start. I’ve talked a bit with my current Archipelago squad and that behaviour has been confirmed. So, yeah, make of that what you will. Has a right feel to me.
That sounds plausible, but still really weird. At least now you have an idea what happened
