I see many people criticising humorous bands such as Lich King and Municipal Waste. However, they are some of my favourite bands. I understand some people want thrash to be aggressive at all times, but I think it is cool to have diversity in the genre and it can sometimes feel like a breath of fresh air imo. I like the fact that bands can sometimes let loose and just “have fun”. Then again, I’m a sucker for classic brutal thrash.
