I don’t really know anything about the mothman tbh except I watched some movie with Richard Gere about it when I was a kid I think.

The Mothman Prophecies was really more about the general state of weirdness around Point Pleasant around the collapse of the Silver bridge
There are a lot of stories about weird things going on, especially the stuff going on with Indrid Cold, but Mothman is straightforward
Big thing with wings, doesn’t even look like a moth, flies around being ominous
It’s perfect
Very creepy, his cameo in that movie although only being voice over a phone still does it.
