The chances of a bill like this even making it to a vote are slim to none, considering the current political climate. The majority of our politicians are beholden to the ultra rich, so they’re not going to vote against their own best interests. I mean, they haven’t even raised minimum wage in like 15 years, even though there has been a 45% inflation.

It’s just being pragmatic. The chances of a bill like this even making it to a vote are slim to none, considering the current political climate.
