Some of the articles aren’t about capitalists complaining about a lack of cheap labor, though, but rather about old people complaining about young people, and how things were better back in the day when they were young and people were hard-working, in their eyes.
If anything is true, this is an old story: people have been saying “nobody wants to work anymore” to describe the current economic situation for a long time here in the United States.
You mentioned “some”, was that a few, or many? What %?
Also, I didn’t see any justification for your analysis that some of those were people complaining about the current economic status in the country. Could you elaborate more on why think that’s so?
Your blog entry seems singularly focused, which left me with questions. After having read the Snope article, which was more broad and informative, my questions were answered.
Honestly not trying to criticize your blog entry, but just stating that it didn’t seem as well written as a Snopes article to me.
I wrote a blog article about this a while back with references to what this meme is actually quoting.
