Fascists only gain power throughout history when the left starts to actively degrade people’s lives. This is why the left historically has shifted to reform as the ethical approach and have gradually shifted more liberal.

Liberals created fascism by embracing neoliberalism. There is no left in power in the US.
If you use violence to bring about your preferred society, you enable violence as a tool of oppression by that society.
