Yep. Javascript is terrible, it seems to only be used everywhere because CompSci courses in America at least (Dunno about the rest of the world) teach everyone programming with Java and JavaScript.
Unrelated: I have a headcanon for the Matrix that MetaCortex, the firm that Neo works at before becoming Neo, is just Oracle.
Anyway, QT isnt too bad to develop with and is basically awesome.
