There is only so much the empire can do before it is stretched too thin.
Nothing much to report. Miscellaneous rockets and missiles falling far short of US ships at more then 5+km away or being shot down, or simply being detected on radar before the missiles failed. Houthi drones also suffered horrific losses with dozens being shot down per statements from both sides.
One British ship hit by small rocket fire, but the damage is negligible with no casualties.
I think it’s interesting that they are targetting military vessels, even if the attacks haven’t been effective.
Yup, that they are being fired on at all is important.
They are firing at shipping, and the military ships are responding to the distress signals.
I’m not sure if that’s the case considering one even got hit, but maybe it was just a mistake. Targetting shipping would be more valuable anyway.
It’s literally in the article, did you read it.
Plenty of other articles also state that the military ships are coming under fire after responding to distress hails.
Drones are cheaper to deploy than the AA munitions used against them.
But can the Houthi forces afford to replace them? I don’t doubt the US’ ability to make more anti aircraft munitions.
Don’t know, but with the recent spats happening fairly regularly, they’re gonna behave as if they can afford to replace them.
The US is spending between 50x and 3000x as much on shooting down drones as they cost to make, depending on the munition. The Houthis don’t need to completely deplete them to still make it horrendously expensive and cost ineffective for the US.
Trial and error!
