In the PNW I switched to tmo from Verizon a few years ago, because Verizon was charging $20 just for the luxury of having a 5g phone. Coverage in the big city and surrounding areas has been pretty good in my experience, typically I’ll have more coverage than att users. I do switch off the 5g when I’m at work though, the LTE seems to have better signal in concrete buildings.

Thankfully, that is something I don’t generally have to deal with.

I get 720mbps on Tmo’s 5gUC network in the NW USA. He’ll of a lot faster than Verizon in my area, but Tmo’s coverage also has way more holes in it.

Can confirm. Have 2 phones, one personal, one work.

Ookla Speed Test to the same server:

    Verizon - 16.4 down, 0.46 up.
    T-Mobile - 223 down, 0.19 up.

I don’t have a 5g phone but will be interested to see how fast it is when I do. Not sure if it is in my area, will have to look. I know they don’t offer home internet here.
