Good for her. How can you shake hands with somebody who’s actively contesting on behalf of a country that is murdering your own people, committing war crimes, threatens the whole world with nuclear threats and puts bombs on your country’s nuclear plant and plays with world hunger.
I understand the rules might be “respect your opponent”, but that opponent should contest under a white or neutral flag. Not under a flag of a country that commits atrocities.
So, I would suggest the contesters and the people who make the rules to also take that under consideration. It’s an insult to the rest of the world to contest under a flag like that.
But no exception if an Arab person done this with an Israeli? right right?
@jay91 @LaFinlandia Conflict between the Arabs and Israel is very unclear, it has no clear causes, it is not clear who is the victim and who is the aggressor. In the case of Russian aggression, it is clear. We can all see who is killing and kidnapping children, bombing cities and occupying foreign territory…
It’s pretty clear that Arabs are clear aggressors to women.
@Lammy Often and a lot, but not all. Ultra-conservative Jews do the same to women. Not to mention, for example, state crimes against women in catholic Poland. You can’t just blame one group, there are bad people and idiots everywhere
Has an Arab been disqualified for something like that before?
wow a rare IOC win. They are usually on the wrong side of things
