Called Project 2025, it would block the expansion of the electrical grid for wind and solar energy; slash funding for the Environmental Protection Agency’s environmental justice office; shutter the Energy Department’s renewable energy offices; prevent states from adopting California’s car pollution standards; and delegate more regulation of polluting industries to Republican state officials.
Their voters are the kind of people who can easily ignore anything inconvenient in their version of reality, until it hits them over the head. Then they will only double down on their stupidity and go even harder against the environment.
But at some point in the near future, their actions will be declared “climate crimes against humanity” and they will be judged, their fanilies expelled to a hot country that gets smaller every year from rising seas and their property will be sold off & reinvested for climate protection and clean energy.
worse. for many, this is subconsciously the way they cleanse themselves and the world. they want to watch the world burn because it will bring salvation and rebirth. this is what happens when you feed generations of people a diet of mental mysticism.
