        What do you define as proper wage though? Minimum wage is $16 where I live in the USA, including for tipped jobs, and people still tip.

          In that case it would be at least $16 an hour.
          I would argue for more though, based on what tipping historically brought wages to.

          In the end it’s the employers responsibility to pay employees.
