Yea I remember the days of MapQuest and having actual paper maps filling up the glove/map compartment.
Maps that could only be obtained after defeating the Butcher in level 3 of the Catacombs. Those were exciting times.

It saddens me how few people recognize the reference when I finish whatever directions I give them with “if you master the wolf, the wolf will guide you.”
