Yeah, I try to ignore most of the external FFVII stuff for the most part. This movie is one of the few things I enjoyed that extended the story a bit. Plus, I think it was just really cool to see a cgi cast the way we all wished the game had been made.

I personally think Square has butchered the remakes in how they’ve done them, so even that to me is something I try to treat as a separate thing bcz it’s a pretty clear cash grab.
