These sentiments are always a bit strange to me. Like if this was the start of an investigation that would kind of make sense. But this is the culmination of an investigation that has led to indictments. This is innately movement forward.

Disagreeing with your cope doesn’t mean I have some hidden agenda. I mostly lurk and this story was worth commenting on. Y’all are sipping some megadose of copium if you think this will slow Trump. If anything it will assure he will win the primary and his supporters will call this out as witch hunt.

This could have been the real deal if he hadn’t been indicted like 3 times already. Shit loses its impact if you keep doing it

The problem isn’t the merits of the case, which he is decidedly guilty of. The issue is that this is politics and the cons will observe this as a continued witch hunt and will be energized to vote for him. Indicting someone is meaningless if an actual punishment will never come. Even if they get a guilty verdict, Trump can appeal all the way until November 2024. If Biden had been strategic, he would have held back on the documents case and brought one slam dunk case to trial. Honestly since they allowed him to skate past the Jan 6 riot, it’s telling that the system will not hold him accountable.

And no, I’m not a dirty con but I definitely suffer from wrongthink, seeing libs continuing to do the wrong thing at every opportunity. It’s like these people are incapable of understanding power and leverage.
