Venetians, Sicilian, Lombardians and Neapolitans are not minorities, it is not an ethnicity, religion or anything. it’s literally “people that live in X” and X is a region from Italy, literally one of the most industrialized countries in the world. It’s like saying “new yorkers are a minority”. Moreover, even if they were, literally nothing is happening to them.
Source: I’m venetian and my grandfather was lombardian. I know my people.
Also, I won’t give you something to hang on, so I won’t say anything for sure. But I’m pretty sure most of the people in that list are in this same position.
Same with Transilvanians. It’s just a historical region between the Carpathian Mountains and that’s it. Learn a bit of Romanian and you can get along with anyone from Transylvania, Crișana, Maramureș, Banat, Oltenia, Muntenia, Moldova (both sides of the Prut river) and whatnot.
The only problem I see there is for the Roma people, but their problem is not nearly as big as the one of the Uyghurs. It’s not the 1800s anymore.
Idk who the utghurs are but the first thing that comes up when i search for it is uyghur genocide… i think that uyghurs are probably in a shittier place than for example the catalonians who only want independence because they dont want their taxes to go to the poorer parts of spain. No catalonian genocide i know of.
