From what i’ve read it seems to be easier to install than Debian (never tried myself) and it has a lot of nice tools to maintain your system.
There are ISO of debian with calamares installer available on debian website. The real difficulty is to find them.
Debian is really easy to install now. It used to be much harder back in the day.
