I’d love to see someone talking about legislation that hold any mass media, PR entity, etc legally liable for publishing incorrect information. Can you imagine if a simple retraction statement buried somewhere wouldn’t cut it and the organization’s leaders were criminally charged or sued? All the sudden talking heads would be a huge liability and maybe only facts would be broadcast again? Probably impossible.

Why can’t we do the same to literally every major organization?
