Why can’t we do the same to literally every major organization?

I’d love to see someone talking about legislation that hold any mass media, PR entity, etc legally liable for publishing incorrect information.

Can you imagine if a simple retraction statement buried somewhere wouldn’t cut it and the organization’s leaders were criminally charged or sued?

All the sudden talking heads would be a huge liability and maybe only facts would be broadcast again?

Probably impossible.
