(The Hexsquad is still in the same room as the previous comic. Hunter has a resolute expression and is pointing to himself with his thumb. Willow stands next to him, and slightly past them are Luz, Amity, and Vee)

Hunter: We are not abandoning Gus.

I’ll go.

(The old Golden Guard, Bob, is still seated on the bench. He presses his fingers to his temple in a pained expression)

Bob: Oh Titan.

Panel 3

(Bob raises his hannd in an exasperated gesture)

Bob: I just saved you from those lunatics!

(Plain background with just Hunter and Willow looking to the side)

Bob (off-panel): Fine, throw your life away then.

(Double panel. The top panel has Hunter and Willow on the far right looking concerned, with lots of space to their left. The bottom panel has Darius on the far left speaking with an intense expression. His image and dialogue bubbles extended into the upper panel)

Darius: I doubt they will hold up their end of the bargain, Hunter.

You’ll be handing yourself over for nothing.
