No, I responded to someone’s comment within this post, and that’s what is being discussed. And they, and myself, are for increased minimum wage, he said it plainly and I said I agreed with him. I also agreed that we should have restrictions placed to prevent the rich from increasing prices on everything else just because the wealthy know that everyone got a base raise. I never said inflation is caused by a wage increase, you came to that conclusion on your own. Republicans also dislike restrictions on the wealthy, which it sounds like you’re not a fan of it either…are you a Republican?

Why are you so against stricter policies being placed on the wealthy to ensure they can’t just hike up prices whenever a wage increase is introduced, anyways? States have had their own minimum wage increases throughout the years and each time, the cost of goods would rise, causing the boost in minimum wage to fall flat eventually - and that’s what the original guy was referring to.

Do you have a source for these findings? Because the last 20 years I’ve lived through minimum wage increases, each time it led to the increase in the cost of living.

I had to scroll to the bottom to see this. This is what happens every time the wage increases. No point in increasing the wage when everyone else increases the price. Can’t agree with your statement more.

Obviously each party has to convince the masses who to vote for. And obviously this is done via news articles and televised debates. But you know damn well I was referring to random clowns on social media telling other people what to do with their vote. No one’s opinion here or elsewhere matters. And if I were new to American elections, I wouldn’t have mentioned swing states and the importance of knowing what your vote can do if your state is not a swing state. And no, his comments were not trying to convince people to not vote for Biden - he just said he wouldn’t vote for Biden - and that’s his choice with his vote. I thought it was pretty clear.

In my state, if being boiled alive was up against Biden, I can vote for a third option, or not at all, and Biden will still will. So, it really depends on the state you’re in. Furthermore, telling other people how they should cast their vote and trying to guilt them into voting one person over the other is not only pathetic, but also very un-American. If you’re in a swing state, vote for who you want and ignore the keyboard warriors who are going to do nothing about it anyways.

Ah, so 55 years before the show takes place. A lot can happen to a city in that time. I also don’t see how changing the look of a city is considered woke, which is what started this post. Lol. As far as I can tell, we haven’t even seen Vault City in the trailer or in the show - yet.

Are you able to link me a screen cap of what a Brotherhood of Steel city should look like? The Fallout games I’ve played didn’t have any city that looked like it was terraformed, as far as I can remember - although the Brotherhood did have a better setup than most considering the situation. If there was a city or town, it still looked pretty badly damaged, similar to most cities in most post-apocalyptic games and shows. I tried looking it up myself, and I could only find images of aged, post apocalyptic looking, buildings. The trailer only showed a small clip, and it looked like a military base more than a city, to me…so it could be possible that they still have this city you’re talking about and we just haven’t seen it yet? So now, from my understanding, the woke factor here is that the Brotherhood doesn’t reside in a clean, advanced looking, city in the show versus the game?

It might be because I have only played a couple Fallout games so I don’t know the lore down to the specifics…but the New California Republic is based in California, and the TV series is also based in California. So how is that like saying one planet is another planet? And since it’s only 10 years after Fallout 4, I’m not surprised it looks more like Fallout 4 versus the other Fallout games.

I recall an article discussing this but didn’t read too much into it and it’s probably the same recent source you’re referencing that got pushed around. Did they take into account that Gen Z has a higher population of internet users than boomers, and a higher population of people in general. I mean, they’re comparing a generation of people born when the internet was a thing so they’ve been using it their entire lives, versus a generation of aged in Internet users with some who never even touched the Internet while they were alive. A generation of people with a PC in their pocket versus landline users. My boomer grandfather didn’t get scammed online because he didn’t use the internet…so Gen Z Timmy has a higher chance of being scammed than he had.
