I’m not super familiar with competitive Pokemon, so I can’t give any suggestions for that, but I will say that most of my more “niche” interests either have a 3-5 subscriber community with no activity or no community at all.
But that’s a great opportunity to fire up a community yourself to get things kicked off.
Web 2.0* is dying, and good riddance imo. I’m ready for the return of grassroots social media and decentralized communities.
I’m also not the biggest fan of the whole required reservations thing either. It makes spontaneous movie nights with friends a massive hassle. You have to have a designated ticket buyer now, or somehow perfectly coordinate your online buying times to ensure you get seats together.
