Is this still the case in other western countries, but to me especially as a burgerlander I hate how cliquey the entire economy is. I’m having an extremely hard time finding a job and especially finding an actual adult job because of the way the whole jobs system is set up. The number one career advice is “network” which is code-word for “be a nepo baby”. Look at this article. Now even literally the only thing porky asked for is now unemployable. From what I can tell, this is the rich wanting to hoard jobs and knowledge only to their clique and if whole generations have to have their lives ruined just for their petty whims, so be it.

I’m going to admit it, I’m unemployed and although I have a Bachelor’s and a few minimum wage jobs to my name…no one seems to want to hire me no matter how much I apply. For any comrades that made it, do you have advice in getting porky to notice you? Or at least ways to subtly lie to get past their absurdly high expectations?
