And they’ve already ramped it up quite a bit. Been watching a show for couple of months, used to be one ad per episode, which I could handle, now it’s like every 10 minutes. So I’ve already cancelled and found the show using other ways.
I use Teams and Jira, and I can’t even imagine the amount of wasted time when I click anything in either of them and nothing happens for a good while, just waiting around.
Why is this always the top comment when somebody makes something with the same functionality as another service?
It’s just good there are some different options, maybe the UI is better, better tech stack, more responsive dev, who knows.
So make the portions smaller, charge more, make more money for shareholders next year, until people catch on and downhill from there, just like Chipotle. But then this guy will simply take his payout and move on to the next.

For example the Formula 1 live threads during a race has like 10 comments on Lemmy, while on Reddit it’s in the thousands. Just wish some communities were a bit more popular.

I use Perplexity pretty much every day. It actually gives me the answers I’m looking for, while the search engines just return blog spam and ads.

Lemmy. Though I do check out the live formula 1 race thread on Reddit when there’s a race on. There is also one on lemmy, but it’s pretty dead.
I just want a game where I don’t have to think too hard. Obviously not some brain dead game, but nothing that’s too close to actual work.
I switch back and forth between DDG and Perplexity. When I quickly want to look something up I find Perplexity quite helpful, just get the answer without filtering through search results.
Hi-fi rush was very successful as far as I know, weird to close that.
They’ve been cramming random stuff in that though that’s making it more laggy. Recently switched to Zed and it’s so much faster.
