Let’s see, the conservative Christian right just voted in a nasacistic tyrant twice. They want to declare America as a Christian country. They want to abolish the separation of church and state. They want to teach creationism in schools. They want LGBT to register as sex offenders. They want to remove books from schools and libraries they don’t like. They want to immediately execute every death row inmate. I’m not sure why I’m pissed at conservatives.

You mean crazy, hateful, transphobic racist ones?

Here in California, they have decided that the best strategy is to tear down their camps and throw them in jail. Cuz that’ll solve everything.

300 years of screwing poor people. Support for the 2008 bailout for Wall Street. Donations from tech companies. They claim to support Medicare for everyone but haven’t done anything about it. Democrats tend to disregard working class and rural populations. In fact they denigrate them and think of them as uneducated hicks. Remember the basket of deplorables? Obama deported more immigrants than any other president.

I think there’s a misconception about elected officials. Many people believe they work to improve the lives of American citizens, but they don’t. Most of their time is spent fundraising and catering to wealthy donors. The majority of them don’t care about you at all.

The Gulag was a government agency in the Soviet Union that administered forced labor camps, particularly during Joseph Stalin’s rule, especially in the 1930s through early 1950s. Stalin was not a Christian either. Similarly, if Putin considers you a threat, you may disappear. Trump has followed a similar approach, gathering loyalists in as many government positions as possible. He has vowed retribution against his perceived enemies, much like the forced internment camps the U.S. used for Japanese Americans during WWII. He may indeed imprison those who speak out against him, having already promised to deploy the National Guard against protesters.

They preach freedom to live your best life unless you are gay, transgender, atheist. They are the worst kind of hypocrites.

I’m currently 63 years old. I spent an entire lifetime eating pretty much meat and potatoes. Over the last few years, I have decided I don’t need meat. I can mix vegetables and onions and spices and make some really tasty stuff. Most of my generation are probably still stuck on meat.

It’s funny, the world is safer now then it was in the 70s when I was a kid. We used to go outside and play until the street lights went out. And the crime rate is actually lower now than it was back then.

I’m not sure why we need fake meat. I might be a minority, I don’t know. But I just make all the stuff I always made and don’t put meat in it.
