As someone with little knowledge of Formula 1 I have a question. Seeing how fucked this car is and knowing how ridiculously expensive each car is, who is going to pay for its replacement? Will Ocon’s team have to pay to replace the car or will Red Bull foot the entire bill themselves?
Funny enough the word for turkey in Dari roughly translates to Elephant Chicken.
Surprise surprise. Alienating people that buy your EV’s results in those people not buying your EV’s. It’s almost as if actions have consequences. It seems like good time for Tesla’s board of directors to fire their CEO. Lol yeah right, they’ll probably give him a raise.
With all of the things going on in this screwed up world it is always important to remember what truly matters…
I get the sentiment and I dislike Elon but I cannot stand titles like this. Elon might have attempted to have it removed but gestures at photo didn’t succeed. It just low hanging fruit when it comes to posts.
Amazing Fantasy Spider-Man with a CGC rating of 9.6 sold in 2021 for 3.6 million dollars. The 6 million dollar man would have to sell over half of himself to afford that.
With the FAA releasing a Notice to Airmen, one has to imagine the launch license has been/is being issued for tomorrow.
“Local officials confirmed Mr. Barnett’s suicide. When asked how Mr. Barnett managed to fire the sniper shot through his bedroom window, the officer first on the scene only replied, “Trust me bro.”, while stuffing a large stack of 100 dollars bills back down the front of his pants.”

As long as Republicans control the House the only way any aid bill for Ukraine or, for that matter, any bill Democrats want to pass though the House requires some level of bipartisanship which sucks yes but it is currently a necessary evil. Unless you’re a Republican and you’re referring to Democrats as fascists then lol.
Considering it was just meant to be a proof of concept and only fly once or twice I would say that 71 flights, a max altitude of 78 ft(24 m), and 10.6 miles or 17 kilometers of travel, not to mention all of the footage from its on board cameras, makes Ingenuity an astounding success.
This is hilarious.
This fuselage failure actually happened where a door could be in the future. These locations are called plugs, if an airliner decides to add the door at some point in the future the plug is removed and a door is added in its place. In this instance the plug was more of a cork and popped upon pressurization.
Yeah, and what about mpg on gas cars! or battery life on phones! Or longevity of light bulbs! Or number of prints for ink sources! Or how many miles a tire should last!
I get where you’re coming from but two of your examples are agreeing with their point. They’re asking for a better standardization for an electric cars overall efficiency same as ice vehicles using mpg and lightbulbs using number of hours they are expected to last.
By just stating the range of a vehicle they are removing the ability to do a good compare and contrast across all electric vehicle. For example, the electric Hummer has a EPA est. range of 329 miles while CyberTruck has a range 320 miles. By using only range both seem comparable but the Hummer achieves its range with a 212 KWh battery pack vs the CyberTrucks 100 KWh battery pack. It’s the ICE vehicle equivalent of a car stating that it gets 500 miles per gas tank. Yeah sure the vehicle can go 500 miles between fill ups but if the car only gets 10 miles to the gallon that’s going to be one hell of gas bill. The solution here is for all EVs to list their battery size and its Miles per Gallon equivalent (mpge) thus allowing buyers to efficiently compare two vehicles no matter battery pack size difference.
Can Elon or Steve leap over an office chair from a standing position in one jump? Yeah, I didn’t fucking think so.

Well money also buys safety so this guy being a gun dealer was flush with TWO types of safety! This guy just hoarding safety, save some of that safety for the rest of us guy!
Pretty much everything produced by Eve (besides their cameras) and Nanoleaf is connected via Thread. They were once only available for the Apple ecosystem but since the Matter standards were released they have been venturing out. Thread is relatively new but it’s use in new devices will only grow. Thread and Zigbee use the same wireless protocol (IEEE 802.15.4) but differs from Zigbee products for it doesn’t require individual homehubs for each separate company. Thread products also benefit from power consumption that is similar to that of Bluetooth but has a range on par with Wi-Fi. Thread device also act as gateways or a tunnels for passing along commands to other Thread devices on the Thread network so where each additional Wi-Fi based device further burdens the network each additional Thread device only strengthens it. Needless to say I’m a fan of Thread.

We did that night, but it was quite windy so the photos were a smidge blurry. Nevertheless one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.
