You left out eradication from climate change or biodiversity loss. Not instant, but an even less zero chance. Quite likely, in fact.

We can currently choose between:

• climate change causing drought, heat, rain, flooding and storms with hail or tornados;
• biodiversity loss preventing pollinating our food and capturing carbon (see climate change);
• nuclear war in a politically unstable world;
• tyrannic forms of government threatening our freedom;
• underpaid slave labour in a capitalistic society, also threatening our freedom;
• no way to divert that incoming meteor;
• business as usual causing the next pandemic;
• more old than young people leading to less care and less work altogether;
• AI taking over the world;
• any mix of the above leading to a collapse of society. Feel free to expand.

Just go eat plant-based all together, so we won’t have these problems that endanger the existence of life on our planet. Including humans.

When you really miss something enough, you can always go make it yourself, of course. Or at least try.

What struck me most in this early footage is that everyone in it has definitely passed away by now. With later films you usually can’t be sure. Makes you realise even more that the available time we have on this planet is quite limited.

This train of thoughts (lol) can keep you healthy, but the risks involved are rather slim. Better to be afraid of mayonnaise and French fries I guess.

Veganism is good for climate, biodiversity, health and animal welfare. We really don’t need to eat animals or animal products to have good meal and live a happy life. The good thing is that humans are omnivores, with a free choice of what to eat. Please choose wisely, not only for your own mental and physical health, but also for others, living now as well as in years to come.

Too bad you only care about how they taste, not about how they’re treated, killed, warm up the atmosphere and cause a loss in biodiversity.

Sorry for the late reply, I just read yours, this app is still a bit of a mystery to me. My work allows for flexible working hours, so there’s no problem there. But in the wake of a decision to stay with Summer Time year round I would suppose that the starting times of businesses and schools would be up for debate. Especially for schools, as these already presently do not lign up with the sleep cycles of students, they only match those of the teachers. It’s funny how introduction of Summer Time has convinced through being confusing. When the plan would have been to ask everyone to come in one hour earlier during summer, a lot of people would have protested. By setting the clock one hour later it has gotten authority and nobody was sure which way the hour difference was supposed to go. Later or earlier? People are still not sure after all these years.

Still, eating meat in today’s society is a choice you don’t have to make. Having a pleasant taste in your mouth on one hand versus climate warming, loss of biodiversity and animal cruelty. Even when locally grown. For me, the choice is not hard to make.
