  • what fucking pathetic reporting from AP.

searches for what happened were heavily censored for users behind China’s Great Firewall.

Outside of the controls, however, videos circulated on the social media platform X.

In one, shared by news blogger and dissident Li Ying, a woman says “my foot is broken.”

Chinese authorities appeared to be tightly controlling information about the incident. Internet censors tend to take extra care to scrub social media ahead of and during major events, such as the aviation exhibition or the annual meeting of the National People’s Congress

For almost 24 hours after the attack, it was unclear what the death or injury toll was. On Tuesday morning, a search on the Chinese social media platform Weibo for the sports center turned up just a few posts, with only a couple referring to the fact something had happened, without pictures or details. Articles by Chinese media from Monday night about the incident were taken down.

Chinese leader Xi Jinping called for the “strict” punishment of the perpetrator according to law, in a statement Tuesday evening.

Wu Huizhong, take a fucking break from being a supreme gusano to have any solidarity at all with the fucking victims.

  • Fr. Capital and Lenin’s works are probably two of the harder reads both for different reasons. Capital is long, weirdly worded, and boring enough that you worry you’re gonna miss the insights that make it worth reading. Lenin is the opposite. Very interesting, much easier to understand language, but so fast paced that my brain periodically needed to stop and go back to reread some stuff I missed. Didn’t help that I knew very little about Soviet history then.

Don’t let anyone make you feel bad for struggling. It’s not an easy read, requires some discipline, and most people just educate themselves on shitposts anyway. Especially don’t let that discourage you from reading. It really is beneficial imo, you won’t regret doing it.

  • Who would’ve guessed it was exactly what we expected?

Libs are so convinced Trump is smoking on that Vladimir Juche necromancy global south anti-imperialism pack. They howl about everything Trump does, but at the end of the day, they believe him when he speaks.

Trump says he would like to get along with Putin and Russia, then behaves exactly as any other neocon or lib, but the libs take him at his word. Somehow he’s a lover of Kim Jong Un because he visited once on a diplomatic trip after threatening them with nuclear destruction. No policy changed after that visit, but Trump gets some iconic photos and they act like he sold the DPRK ICBMs.

The same fuckers are runnng the show. Trump just likes to give off the impression he is making deals n shit, because his whole schtick is being a saavy businessman negotiator, and the libs run with that as if sitting at the table and giving up nothing is selling the country to “our enemies” or whatever.

I wish we had the Trump that liberals imagine we have. They’re doing everything they can to try to make him look far cooler than he is.

  • I don’t think Russia or China will ever let the Cuban goverment fall because it’s a very important strategic ally of them.

They need to step the fuck up then.

Between China, Russia, and Mexico, they have reliable, sovereign partners for energy, infrastructure, defense, technology, and food. They can twart the US blockade. Russia is already near maximally sanctioned by the US, so they have no reason to not be making regular shipments of Russian oil/gas and goods from China and Mexico.

One of those situations that highlights how devastating the collapse of the Soviet Union was for the world.
