Google is doing a lot of A and B testing right now. Some days I habe to use Bing or duckduckgo, no matter what, or else I get shit results.

You know about the penis that turned the lesbian straight? Same thing but for women pussy.
Gaming. GAMING! No one gamed on a Titan card.
Good thing I didn’t say “don’t bother at all”. I never said don’t get vaccination or don’t wear a mask if you’re in public transport. I even said stay at home when feeling sick to not infect others. I personally don’t use public transport much anymore and probably won’t carry a mask for the rare occasions, but that’s a personal thing. However the automatic bite reflexes, of assuming I propagate a black and white thinking, makes me believe you’re American. It’s often in online discussions, especially with Americans, that they only see pro or against. It’s exhausting.
Also you brushed of the other things I said too. Maybe I should’ve added a “third” option and it’s people who don’t bother with covid at all, but I left it out for discussion sake. All I read all day on social media is the still existing constant fear of covid, and yeah, I rightfully so laugh about this. It’s like fearing cancer. You take reasonable preparations but you gain nothing by changing your way of living by an invisible virus you could catch any day. How is this so hard to understand?
For just tinkering around one could use SD1.5 with a 4GB VRAM GPU and stop after a few minutes. I spend quite some time on AI image generation, like on average 4 hours per day since over a year now. New models, especially video AI generation will need more VRAM, but since I don’t do this commercially, I can’t just pay 30k for a GPU.
I know there have been non gaming GPUs with so much VRAM, but that’s beside the point.
RTX3090 with 24gb VRAM was the best you could get as consumer GPU. Not sure which 2017 GPU you mean but it certainly was a completely different price range and not for gaming. It would be the same as comparing it to an A100, makes no sense.
A lot of people can’t afford two PCs or a GPU that costs 10 times as much, so obviously the GPU needs to be good for gaming and other stuff. I only voiced my opinion after all. If you don’t need more VRAM, that’s fine. I however don’t have an unlimited wallet and VRAM should be higher for the asking price they have, but again, you can disagree if you think it’s fine.
Compared to 24gb we had in 2020 that’s barely an upgrade. I’m not joking, AI stuff needs more VRAM. 32gb is too little for the price they’ll ask for. Right now VRAM is more important than pure power, you can’t use larger models when your VRAM bottlenecks.
Edit: oh I get it. I mentioned AI my bad.
32gb VRAM would suck. Then I’ll not buy a 5090. A 5080 with only 16GB of GDDR7 would also suck. Better get a 3090 with 24gb then.
They are praying on all the “They’ll do a No Man’s Sky comeback” naïve people. Basically free money glitch.
I always laugh at stuff like the small dust cloud of the cucumber, as if it just popped into existence and caused air pressure.
The Nice Guys
I’m so glad I watched this movie before reading reviews.
I’ve seen quite a lot of Tesla in Florida, way more than 1%. However I was only at tourist places.
Yeah that semi randomness of NMS is what I had in mind. AI could improve that a lot.
Then it’s not relevant content anyways. If it were, you’d find another source easily.
Objectively he isn’t wrong. He will make a deal with valuable partner (knowledge bases) but doesn’t need all the live information (news pages). Because AI can search the web and summarize. It doesn’t have that exact data for AI learning then, but will still provide a sufficient reply to the user. At least that’s my takeaway here.
I don’t deminish how bad cancer is, never said that. I also don’t give terrible advice, because life is to live and not to worry. Stop with your twisting and go back into hiding from covid. That’s my advice to you.
I bet everyone cares to not get their life destroyed, duh. But while you fear and hide, the world is moving on without you. You chose the second option Good luck.
It was wrong to comment here, of course a covid related community will be full of people who wear masks under a shower.
It’s too early. In 10 years Nintendo will, it’s the Nintendo rhythm.
You don’t have to shove AI into everything but it allows for a lot of amazing and crazy things. Gameplay first and I don’t think we need AI for this, but a lot of side elements can be handled by AI. Be it sounds, dialogues, voices, randomness in monster or level design etc. In general, AI could be good with filling games with content without it being generic. It will help to elevate content past obviously identifiable “random” content. Same way an AI image doesn’t look AI if it’s well made. However, we’ll get a lot of shovelware stuff of lazy companies, no one needs those.
Next: make it so games can’t suddenly lose their music license. This is so incredible annoying. I know it’s depending on what the publishers negotiated, but it shouldn’t be possible to suddenly patch out soundtracks because of a license expire.
