I do not think women should be allowed to be presidential nominees because I, like most of the electorate I assume, vote based on which of the candidates I imagine as the bottom in a hypothetical gay relationship between them. I would love to one day see a woman president, and I fully support them inheriting the duties through the line of succession, but it is too dangerous to mess with the electoral process.

Some people seem to have developed this one-sided, dogmatic view of comedy where elegance is the only aesthetic value, where jokes should have nothing superfluous and be delivered in the shortest possible form. They seem to believe this is universally accepted, but if it ever was it has now created its antipode, as aesthetic values tend to do. They then go around criticizing pieces of comedy for not being sterile, believing that their old-fashioned preferences are objective, even against direct evidence that audiences clearly appreciate the thing they are criticizing.
It’s graphically and stylistically beautiful, but the map design and the camera angle or something makes it so you never look at the pretty stuff, which is a real bummer. I also liked the standoff mechanic, until they tried to add depth to it about an hour in and turned it from a cool pacing thing into a goofy minigame where a guy tries to make you flinch like a middle school bully.
AI energy consumption is probably pretty bad, but for some reason everything I have seen written about it makes such strange comparisons that it immediately sets off my bullshit alarms. It’s pretty funny how common it is for one side to view posting as a performance and another to view it (more correctly) as a conversation. It happens on twitter all the time, where someone will write a comedic post, and someone replies with what in the real world would be a completely normal riff, only to get a reply like “do not tell my joke back at me”.
