This thread is great. I love how people are arguing against deleting your Reddit history by comparing their own history to the content in the Library of Alexandria. The Reddit hive mind and subreddit echo chamber had a lasting effect, it seems.

I’ve had to give up on EasyNPC. I try and try and try and I either get non-specific crashes, or, once I get it to finally compress into one mod, I’ll end up with random face colorization issues, missing eye textures, or other weirdo glitches.
I love the idea of EasyNPC so much but I’ve had to set it aside and accept that I don’t have the energy to master the arcane knowledge necessary to combine NPC overhauls. I wish they’d at least change the mod name to AdvancedNPC.
Nice. I recently discovered Styx, a companion wolf. The default is a spectral wolf but there’s also an option for normal fur. She starts out as a puppy and will grow up as time goes on.
Having a little pup follow me around and howl everywhere is the cutest darn thing ever.
That looks very cool, thanks for sharing
After years and years of playing and modding TES, I still have no idea what the whole “kill Nazeem” quest is or how to even start it.
I feel so guilty and shameful whenever I see a Nazeem meme.
And every time I bump into him in Whiterun I think to myself, ‘how do I kill you?’
Good to know, thanks. I chose the AE version for my recent LO rebuild because I know it works with my x.353. One less unknown to worry about!
My go-to is always Stay at the System Page, which lands you right at the System menu when hitting Esc. There are multiple files out there for AE, NG, etc so be sure and pick your correct flavor.
I have to ask though…for a novice modder, is DynDoLOD even necessary? There is an awful lot of pain and tears with your first couple of times, and personally I never thought it was worth it. There’s been many a time where I’ve stood on a mountaintop, turned it on and off, and asked myself, ‘is that it’?
