Benefit of Matrix is that it offers bridging chat to and from other chat applications. It eases transitioning to it as you can have all your chats in one place.

The newest Jerboa version allows to hide the labels, perhaps a sufficient workaround for now.

Somehow Create feels very vannila-esque. No UI’s, no 1 block does it all, creative freedom,… It’s a nice change of pace between all the tech mods out there.

If your home instance updated to newest lemmy version (0.18 I believe) you have to use newest Jerboa version (0.0.35)

Otherwise you have to use Jerboa version 0.0.34

Got my hands on an old HP Proliant DL385P Gen8, on it I got running:

• Homepage
• Grafana
• Prometheus
• Minecraft server
• Pihole
• Some private projects (Angular, PostgreSQL, …)

Most of them are running in Docker containers. Am still looking for things to add, Lemmy could be interesting although I don’t have any communities in mind to host.
