Thanks for the replies everyone. I’ve decided to not let my concerns overcome the most important thing of releasing the project as fully open source.
Just going to go with GPLv3 and not worry about the clones that will happen regardless of the license type, if the program becomes popular.

I was talking about broadband at home via a 4g/5g router, not on a phone. They offer plans specifically for people who want internet at home, but who can’t get DSL/fibre.
Phones usually have a lower cap, like 50>200GB. I get 50GB with my phone provider for instance.
In my European country, there are no bandwidth caps for DSL or fibre connections. But if you’re not in a town (which most of us aren’t) and can only get internet via a 4g (or rarely 5g) connection, you have to live with a shitty 700GB cap, which is fucking ludicrous.
As someone with a myriad of health issues, including chronic pain, I always dread having to go to ER.
You can guarantee that you’ll be there for at least 10 hours and even more if you need to be admitted. The seats in ER are like sitting on concrete, so you’ll be guaranteed to be extremely uncomfortable within 30 mins of your wait. Add to that, people staring at you whilst you’re in pain, just adds to the issues. There’s no privacy at all.
Part of the issue is people attending ER for trivial things that they should be visiting their GP for instead.
That’s only part of the problems though.
It also affects other services negatively. Having to undertake an endoscopy is a terrifying experience due to lack of beds. They use a sedative which doesn’t work and results in you waking up in the middle of the procedure and being pinned to the bed whilst gagging and choking on the tube.
I felt violated the last two times I’ve had to have this done and it affected me mentally in a big way, being too scarred emotionally to talk for a couple of days at least. Having your throat damaged by the forceful nature of being pinned down whilst choking doesn’t help either.
These adverse knock-on effects result in, frankly, inhumane treatments that should be handled a lot better.
This shit has been going on for years and needs to be resolved. Enough is enough.

I’m fucking sick of this shit.
I’d say a lot of deaths are also caused by those idiots who refuse to drive anywhere past 1/2 of the speed limit and who refuse to pull over to let traffic past.
Resulting in people being increasingly frustrated and ending up performing dangerous overtaking to get past them. Also the amount of people who just pull out without looking is getting fucking ridiculous. Someone almost hits my car nearly every day.
Every day I see an increasing number of idiots who must have got their licenses from the back of a cereal box.
But of course, nothing is ever done about those drivers. It’s always blamed on speeding and dangerous driving, which is far from the full picture.

I believe there is a setting to disable showing the volume on applications open in the taskbar in the settings app (naturally, in desktop mode).
Or it might be an option after right clicking the taskbar. Can’t recall which one it is.
Disabling this should prevent you from being able to mute them accidentally in the future.
The only problem I foresee in doing this is adding every possible save location for games. They seem to save all over the place, so finding out the right directory to sync for each game is extremely time consuming.
I wanted to do this before, but gave up. If you want to only sync the game saves and not a ton of unrelated data, it’s a chore.
Even tools like ludusavi don’t have directory’s added by default for anything non Steam due to this.
If anyone has a good solution to this, I’d love to hear it!
