She was the lead on forcing Biden to drop out. She should have done it earlier and she shouldn’t have assumed there would be an open convention. Biden was always going to fuck everything up but Nancy is one of the people I blame the least.

I agree with the author of this essay on most things.

People aren’t centrists. They want big changes to things. They don’t want a lot of nothing. They want one big thing. It’s a different thing for everybody. And they want somebody that they think will fight for them. Donald Trump may be a dumb liar but he has presented himself every day as someone that will fight for his people. Kamala told everybody on the left to fuck off, the genocide will continue and we’re going to have a sensible border wall. And she was going to put a republican in her cabinet. Am I losing my god damn mind? Does the average democrat voter want a republican cabinet?

If I won’t get what I want on a set of issues I care a lot about and consider the highest priority at the moment under Kamala or Trump, why would I vote for either of them?

The only thing I honestly give Trump a point for is having the good instincts to make fun of Kamala for campaigning with Liz Cheney and touting the Dick Cheney endorsement.

Trump’s probably going to get 312 electoral votes when it’s official, compared to 304 in 2016. He won the popular vote by a 4.45% and a republican hasn’t won the popular vote by that much since 1988. People do not like Donald Trump. I bet he’ll enter office with an approval rating below 50%.

Yeah, the vast majority agree with us, but there are a minority that don’t. Most people that support Israel on this are republicans. The Harris campaign handled it so poorly that Trump probably picked up some votes on both sides.

Polls say most democrat and independent voters want the genocide to end, and we don’t know how many didn’t show up to vote for this reason.

Is there a way to force liberals to reckon with all the stuff they just stopped caring about the day Biden became president? Like the camps of migrants? A lot of them went full border wall with Biden. Now they’re probably going to start caring again.

It’s probably going to be a bad time for trans people. I expect a lot more laws preventing trans people from playing sports in high school. I’m worried about migrants, homeless, Gaza but I already was. There will probably be more abortion restrictions in more states. Conservatives might get like a 7 or 8 seat majority on the supreme court.

Now that the democrats have been cast into the desert again, liberals might start pretending to care about our issues again. But they did not pretend. They made it clear that we would not have a seat at the table with Kamala and now we still won’t have a seat at the table and neither will they.

I didn’t know how jokerfied I’ve gotten because while I’m still disappointed that Trump is going to be president again, it’s also hilarious that she did even worse than Hillary. The democrats are an absolutely terrible party. I’m sad Trump won and glad Kamala lost. She was talking about protecting black people’s crypto and campaigning with the Cheneys and would not take a stance for or against anything, even against genocide.
