While I’m personally not really interested in a animated comedy Star Trek, I do understand why people like the show.
That being said, I’m really not excited for this crossover at all. I think Lower Deck’s style, particularly in its dialogue, will just bring out the worst in Strange New Worlds. I expect it’ll fall to whether you do or don’t like Lower Decks whether you’ll like that episode.
On iOS, I’ve had good experience with NetNewsWire and Reeder
It’s a program you host yourself that can connect to dozens (hundreds?) of different smart device interfaces. Instead of having different apps to control you smart lights, plugs, switches, vacuums, etc., you can connect everything thru Home Assistant and make completely different devices work together.
The most interesting part of this is when TNG/DS9 and DS9/VOY start overlapping, and seeing exactly where things line up. For example, following being tortured by Cardassians in Chain of Command, Picard then visits DS9 and gets yelled at by Sisko for killing his wife. You can also see where the Maquis or Dominion plotlines are during Voyager’s runtime.
