I’d always take a release that’s done right, over something rushed, broken, and something that will leave a poor first impression.

It’s already really difficult to engage with the content you want to see, but now they’re also taking away the only immediately noticeable metric of a successful video? Genuinely just why
Very unexpected one. Really excited to give it a shot when I can get a copy
Can’t wait to see what kind of BlyatGPT these assholes come up with. The sanctions aren’t harsh enough
Some of my closest friendships are people I’ve either never seen, or only got to meet a couple times. It’s not like living far away makes them worse friends.
You never know what kind of situation you’ll end up in. One time my transfer flights got messed up, and I was left stranded in a random airport for almost a day. I ended up asking around, and one of those long-distance friends drove hours to pick me up, get me some food, and let me get rest too.
Of course I’d love for them to live closer, so we can see each other regularly, but i’ll take what I can have
Basically every single email client I have ever used, with the exception of Thunderbird, has somehow ended up in the hands of some soulless corp, and has either been discontinued, or got a subscription price that’s impossible to justify.
Some of these genuinely make no sense too. I’m paying per inbox, and a weird web wrapper that just opens google calendar? Come on
Factorio, or Dyson Sphere Program, are both absolutely excellent.
The headline felt a little weird, but turns out this wasn’t written by Eelco. I thought how can they have found nix in 2016 if they’ve created it to begin with lol
Either way, I’ve switched all by one of my machines to Nix now, including my Darwin laptop, and it’s honestly been pretty damn good.
Aside from the huge learning curve, and a pretty depressing turnover rate for an occasional package update request, especially when it comes to home-manager.
The ability to have a flake structure, that you can push to git, and then re-use on all of your systems, is huge.
Me and one of any family members both have an ESR case with one of those pop-out camera edges that acts as a stand. It’s excellent. I use it with my car magsafe charger, and it genuinely requires some effort to take off lol
I replaced docker with podman on all of my systems, and so far i really have nothing to complain about. Works exactly as advertised
I used to own a Marshall MG15CF, and absolutely loved that thing. For the price, it was absolutely excellent.
Depending on how much money you can spend, the Boss Katana will probably be the last amp you’ll need for personal use. Or otherwise, digital kits like stuff from NeuralDSP are my favorites too
Is there any word on when they’ll allow PWA’s to be sent to the application list instead?

Your eyes on the front display is what i mean. Passthrough for your own vision is awesome
This could have been an absolutely insane product, if they sold it without all the useless bullshit like the facial passthrough, at a decent price. As it is, especially given how fragile it is, it’s just a toy at best.
It’s basically taken the exact opposite route of something like the Xbox Kinect, which turned from a toy into something people use in science

That’s a huge shame. I was using it quite extensively to sync wallpapers and immediately-necessary files to my phone.
It’s not even like it looks any better for iOS either. Between the filesystem permission issues, and the background activity being severely crippled as standard, no wonder there’s no development there either
The way these people pump out, and then shut down, completely unremarkable generic titles, is a skill in itself.
If they weren’t trying to go for easy money, and committed the effort towards a solid project, they would have been much more well off
I use Bibata however I don’t really have a strong preference for any specific one.
Going to return to this thread a bit later, just to see if other people link something interesting
I genuinely cannot express how much it annoys me that I cannot have a blocklist for keywords.
Most of the things I read are from my subscribed communities, which i’m very happy about generally, however given the overall state of life today, half of the posts in completely unrelated communities end up being one of the following:
I really just don’t want to see any of those things
