This is a really good advice. I will be looking for a new TV soon and it seems like there are no more dumb TVs.

Obaidian + Syncthing will do the trick.
I’m using terramaster as hdd enclosure. I have two of those, both connected to lenovo thinkcentre. I’ve tried rpi but I needed more power hence the lenovo thingy.

Woohoo! Android auto!
I wouldn’t expect anything else. Kill it and start again. If it still misbehaving, kill it again and check what’s listening on problematic ports.
Run docker ps
and kill all running sonarr/radarr containers.
Here’s the list of things that suck in tablet mode:
Linux on a tablet is not a good idea. I’ve been using 2-in-1 laptop and it sucks as a tablet. If you want a device to read books get an ebook reader. I’m using kobo elipsa 2e and it’s amazing. However if tablet is a must have get pixel tablet and install grapheneos.
There should be a mandatory test or exam before allowing companies to handle user data. And it should be perpetual.
I bought the domain, set required domain records as per protonmail docs, waited for verification to complete and enabled catch-all thingy.
Using a simplemail means you are bound to a provider, in this case ProtonMail. If you setup a custom domain you can ditch ProtonMail/Simplelogin duo domains and switch to a different provider whenever you want.
That’s why I have setup a custom domain and catch all so I can create aliases on the fly. Was huge fan of simplelogin until I did a though experiment about ditching proton mail. I will not pay for email aliases.
Not sure how but I’ve missed Swiftfin and was using Infuse on my Apple TV for past few months. Made a quick test and it seems that Swiftfin suffers from the same issue as Plex does - crappy connection makes crappy experience. Don’t know how Infuse makes it but with the same network settings movies looks way better.
Syncthing for syncing files between devices and filen for backups.
I was using Rnote. It worked pretty well but I don’t have a use case for stylus so it sits somewhere in a drawer
Hardware wise dell xps 13 2-in-1 is a good choice. However folio is horrible, magnetic stand is way too weak and I still cannot figure out deep sleep/hibernation. Aslo fingerprint scanner doesn’t work.
Another thing is that Linux is not the best choice for a touch device. I’ve tried gnome and kde and they both suck. I’ve also tried plasma mobile and it feels like nearly days of touch screens.
What happened to Airbnb?
Good old corporate greed fueled by an unreasonable shareholders/investors expectations.
They lost me on
Consumers are hungry for a new way of social networking
Another good idea. Will keep that in mind when looking for a TV.
