Steps:

1. Install proton GE 9.18 via asdf
2. Select [...]/SHProto/Binaries/Wine64/SHProto-Win64-Shipping.exe in lutris
3. Select proton get 9.18 as the runner in lutris
4. Profit

Oom killer errors or errors from fitgirl?

I have always used vanilla wine and only oom when I have too many browser tabs open and try to install something.

Also, in that case, what do you use instead?

wine ./setup.exe and then select your z drive and then the target directory. I’m surprised it doesn’t work at all on your machine.

Update: I have also tried adding it to steam and running from there, but it doesn’t launch at all
