They may have … because the planning was rushed … meaning, more importantly, they used historical weather patterning which is now unreliable (due to global warming).
Ofc I did. But I also didn’t realize I was doing it until it happened for the first time.
If it’s never happened to you, good. But it does happen to a lot of us.
He was complacent, believing because he’d done the route often enough he’d be safe.
I mean how could he get lost when he said he’d done it before? Because he was so familiar with it his mind wandered and he wasn’t paying attention.
The same thing has happened to me when I’ve been driving the same route home after a long day at work. All of a sudden I ‘wake up’ and realize I don’t remember the drive at all.
“Under Stephen Harper’s Conservative government, tycoons like the Semples were tapped for advice and wielded greater influence outside the province,” said Enoch, director of the Saskatchewan office of the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives.
“Their influence dropped off with the Trudeau government, but I think they’re keen to regain it with a Poilievre victory.”
Yeah, that’s what we need … Harper’s Con, Part Deux.
Because he had done it before, and just like a worker does a singular job often or you drive the same route to work all the time, familiarity can breed complacency. That’s when accidents happen.
Steve Vladeck wrote a book about that … The Shadow Docket: How the Supreme Court Uses Stealth Rulings to Amass Power and Undermine the Republic.
In a CNN interview he also said that “for the first 200 years of the Supreme Court’s existence, Congress was regularly involved in conversations about the shape and size of the court’s docket, which kinds of cases the court was hearing, how much business it was conducting”. One wonders why that oversight stopped.

I feel Public Hand Job should be added as well.
When a partial truth vs the whole truth is told it’s still a lie.
And yet Media Bias gives Press Progress a High mark for factual reporting.
I do agree on how poorly the article is written tho. But when it can’t be based on facts (like police reports or other sources) it would always just be a he said/she said.
Very early onset as she’s only 43-44 now … four years ago when she was shot she was 39-40.
Yes, do keep whining. That’ll help your weak-assed case.
We didn’t use to … until the NRA and America’s 2nd Amendment defenders started pushing across our border. Source
Shit. This hits close to home. I was very active on twatter back then and followed Linda. Her girls are pretty young to be losing their mom.
Fucking cops.
Need some proof of that. Do you have links?
Might be easier if you find proof for your statements.
You apparently don’t understand what facts are or how to find them … preferring to blame others for your own failures.
You have exactly zero studies in any of your prior posts and you’re telling me to go back and look anyway?
Either support what you say or sit down.
Canadians get it. Many Americans, not so much.
