My old job I used to have a lot of days where I’d have meetings every half hour or often consecutively. It was impossible to actually get anything big done because I’d just always be organizing notes from the last one or prepping for the next one. I between it was all I could do to put out fires. It was insane.

“Human stories” are depressing and boring as fuck. I’ve already dealt enough with people dying of illnesses and being in shitty relationships and all that bullshit in my own life. I don’t need to be reminded of it by reading or watching a dramatized version. Put that shit in a metaphor the characters can solve their problems by blowing up.

So we need to articulate how the global benefits of those billionaires’ tax money being pooled and spent on commonwealth, is better even for the billionaires than if they’d each individually kept that money.

If they pay their taxes we don’t feed them to pigs. How’s that for a benefit?

I’d argue it’s the best for grilled cheese sandwiches because it stays melted way longer. Other types of cheese I’ve tried get a weird texture when they cool off. I don’t particularly like them anyway due to the macros being garbage and I’m certainly open to suggestions but this has been my experience.

But that requires a level of forethought and planning I’m simply not capable of.

It’s so stupid. All the phones newer than mine have less hardware features so if I replace it I’ll have to find new ways of doing a bunch of things. I’d have probably bought two more phones since I got this one if everything wasn’t a downgrade from what I have currently.

I’ve seen posts with people saying that if you’re uncircumcised you can do it without lube. I don’t know if it’s true or not because I am circumcised and definitely can’t. At least not for very long. If it’s true I’d consider that a big enough drawback to complain about.

The problem is they integrate that shit with the functions you do want like the radio and AC and then make you operate it all through a god damn touchscreen so that if you get on the highway before you realize you forgot to turn the shitty lane assist off you now have to take your life in your hands to disable it or risk it ramming you into that ladder or pothole or something because it doesn’t want you to change lanes abruptly.

Yeah it sucked. Fortunately I’m pretty much immune to that shit when I have something in writing to back my position. They could call me every name in the book, I’m not giving them what they wanted. After awhile it gets kind of entertaining watching them twist themselves into knots when they just have to do what they’re told. Especially when they tried emailing my superiors and I could hit them with a reply all explaining in simple terms why I didn’t do what they asked and exactly what they needed to do to get it done and have my superiors just be like “yea do that”
