  • No problem.

Given you did hit her car or scratch it or whatever, 150 pounds is about as little as you could have expected to pay. Whether she fixes the car or not doesnt really matter but I do believe she did it would not make sense to fake an invoice for that.

She could still TRY claim off insurance but given you have written confirmation from her that she fixed it already, I doubt that will happen

  • I am assuming you are from the US given you state prices in dollars, which may have varying prices to the UK

For a minor scratch I can’t imagine the price being 500 dollars or euros personally, I would have imagined it would be a lot less. 150 does seem a little cheap but it really depends on the extent of the damage, if its just a small scratch it could be 150. If its a decent scrape and its deep into the paintwork it will be a lot more

  • If I was you I would just pay the 150 pounds.

The invoice looks pretty similar to garages because they tend to just be ran by one or two people and dont have sophisticated invoice generation. Their systems are old school and work off pen and paper, which is what your (or her) invoice was.

Also, you could argue that even if she didnt get the work done, 150 pounds sounds about right for a slight backup/bump into another car. If she wanted to pocket the money, or possibly wait and get the car fixed at a later date, that would possibly be her right too.

If the invoice is inflated (e.g. Its a fake invoice and a higher amount than you damaged) thats a different story. That would be fraud. But I am not sure 150 pounds is inflated. A worry about getting it done outside insurance is people will defraud you and make their mechanic produce a fake invoice, higher than the actual amount. But its hard to see that happened here given its such a small amount.

  • On reddit you go to /r/place and can place a pixel on a certain place on this huge canvas of like… idk 5000 * 5000 pixels wide? Its a huge canvas of pixels. So you and your friend or another subreddit can try team up and conquer part of the canvas, lets say the bottom right corner. And then you can all work together and create a little flag or another picture/image like this one. I am not sure on the limit of how many pixels each user can post per minute, or the exact number of pixels, but its roughly something like 5000-10000 pixels wide and high

EDIT: This image you see would be a tiny portion of the entire canvas. You can tell because the resolution of ‘Spez’ for example is pretty bad, which means its only a few pixels wide. If it was taking up the entire canvas it would be perfect resolution and you wouldnt see janky edges

This is an example of the entire canvas at some point over the past few days. Its probably actually something like 50000x50000 pixels

  • I think we might go with the Bambulab. I have seen quite a few say they are pretty reliable. As opposed to something like the Ender 3 which I have heard people say are a bit unreliable and you have to spend time tweaking.

Some parts of the Bambulab apparently you can’t buy. Here is a youtube comment i saw “yes, they do, but as he alluded to, some of them are not replaceable, or even serviceable, like the carbon rails …”

Hopefully the carbon rails (whatever they are) wont break though lol
