  • I asked for the push and you delivered. My Proton should be here tomorrow, along with a Beatstep (non-pro) midi sequencer. (I am already invested in the Arturia “ecosystem” anyway…)

The plan is to use a DAW whenever I feel like it, even though it lacks the allure of going DAW-less and has a different layer of complexity in itself.

Sigh. This is only synth #3 with a dozen more to go… ;)

Edit: Oops. Replied to the wrong comment, but whatever!

  • I haven’t experienced the full ‘GO GO TAKE CARE OF NORMAL THINGS’

That behavior is learned, for the most part. The meds just help you follow through and stay on track to actually complete “normal” things.

Procrastination is normal. Starting to work on cleaning a room but somehow end up sorting screws in your neighbors garage is not normal.

Meds have limits and they aren’t magic. They are fucking awesome, but still, not magic.

There is a ton of stuff that you will need to sort out in your own brain over the next few months or years, TBH. Some ADHD’isms run deep. Some issues are correctable, some are not but that is for you to figure out on your own.

  • I recently watched a documentary on the history of the original UK dubstep and how it transitioned into the more commercialized brostep. It did a good job of pointing out a lot of a absolutely distain for the newer genre brostep, actually. Hence, I really tried to focus my questions on the technical side of things and avoid anything that would even resemble Skrillex-worship. When it comes to raw sound design, there is still a ton of interesting nuggets in both styles that are super interesting to learn.

  • Except that Bitcoin isn’t driven like stock prices and there isn’t much correlation to regular currency trading.

If you “buy the dip” you need to commit to buying as the price dumps all the way to the bottom, and until you can turn a profit as the price eventually recovers, which could take months or years.

If you want Bitcoin, buy it. If you don’t, don’t. Exchanges control a majority of the Bitcoin, so there are no rules or silly sayings that will ever and can ever make a difference in a trade. Chanting “buy the dip” is cute, but it only encourages FOMO.

This has got to be part of a coordinated troll farm. The insanity of pro-right, pro-russian posts here has cranked up a couple of notches.

It’s hyper-extreme bullshit from accounts all about 3 months old. It’s not the volume that has changed, it’s the batshit crazy Russian’esq state media intensity where so many layers of bullshit start to stack, it’s impossible to fact check anything.
