It’s so hard to catch any part of a dive, it’s all over in a flash.

Getting shots of a kingfisher in its dive is on my 2025 list along with some other targets to find!

@[email protected] a lovely shot, not a very flashy bird but I really enjoy seeing them hopping about. There are two some times three that visit the garden every day and poke through the tray feeders.

That one looks handy with a saw as well 🪚😉

Thankfully there’s a block on all works for Christmas so the network is ‘stable’ 😶. It’ll be very quiet and I get the important days off.

I’m jealous, I was stuck inside until it was dark!

@[email protected] brilliant shot! Lovely detail and much closer than I have managed to get to any woodpecker.

We followed the drumming through some woods at Minsmere a couple months ago to find them. Spotted them up an old dead tree, after some photos from a distance they disappeared.
