Passports used to be cool.
You got cool stamps to record your travels and they actively documented your travels, these days my passport is just empty and boring.
Looking at my grand parents old passports is so cool when you can trace their travels.
My grandmother had several stamps from the DDR, among many many other stamps from other nations all over europe.
