I’m in the process of deleting myself from corporate America, and it feels good to give the old/little developer a hand up. The games I like aren’t THAT retro, but can be enjoyed none the less. Any further suggestions?

Every time I see Kenshi in the wild I have to take a moment to praise what a great game it is. It has to be one of the first games I bought in “early access” in whatever format that was over a decade ago, and never regretted it.
For an indie dev it was an absolute achievement.
Yeah I’ve always loved Kenshi for what it isn’t: Go grind for two hours, to defeat _______, so they you get they key of _______, to unlock the chest to that you can finally meld the five items you needed in order to have a sword 3.7% better than the one you had. It’s everything normal people want, and nothing they don’t
