I’m against them or anyone else intervening. But that’s literally what they are doing. Reuters reporting doesn’t take political sides, they are probably the straightest shooters in western media. Unless you have a source that contradicts this, of course.
And sometimes it’s reasonable to have anonymous sources. Especially when we are talking about government insiders, whose actions can have huge impacts on foreign relations.
