    When I was in college in the 90s we had one student who contracted measles at my school. Back then people still took it seriously. They actually shut down all classes and set up a free vaccination clinic. Nobody was allowed to return to class until you could provide proof that you had received a vaccine/booster recently enough to still be effective. Once you were verified you got a release form you had to show your professors to be admitted to class. This was a mid-size state University, so it was a pretty big deal.
