I actually wish we could have different parties. If we had a name change along with it, wouldn’t hurt my feelings. Then again, I’m one of the weird Americans that is both against American progressives/liberals but doesn’t mind the metric system (and really hates imperial units of volume in particular).
I even wonder why they are still not driving on the left side of the road
According to above, Britain actually started out on left side of the road long before we got around to things. Sounds like it was an adaptation brought about from horse-drawn carriages without seats (driver would ride horse on rear left to keep his gun hand free) and was later reinforced by Henry Ford’s model T having the driver’s seat on the left side of the vehicle. So I guess for once we could ask why you guys are still using the old system? 😉
