From the inside looking around, I’m pretty sure we have. Maybe not 30% of the population going around throwing up nazi salutes to trump or technicals driving down highways shooting anyone with rainbow bumper stickers, but we certainly have Republicans openly calling for fascism and celebrating each move towards it, and definitely have domestic terrorists the media keeps calling “lone wolves” going around shooting up power substations and other electrical infrastructure they think supplies democratic leaning areas especially when they have things like planned parenthood, drag queen story time, any form of trans support…

Sure they almost certainly aren’t communicating with each other, but they’re working toward a common goal and it sure does line up pretty solidly with what most of the Christians around here want. Seems pretty cut and dry domestic terrorism to me.

I think if Trump trulley embraces the christian fundamentalists then you will be a lot closer. I do worry about what will happen in across October to January. Either way your election goes I think you are for a lot of hurt socially and as a democracy.

          • Will the world stand by as you sink into a pseudo-civil war if the right loses?
          • Will the world stand by as you sink into a pseudo-dictatorship (with plans for a full on one?) with very differing views to much of the western world?

Either way I think there is more to come - unfortunately

First part, yes. Second part, not yet. They still want to appeal to “moderates”.

Thing is, he’s more like a Boris Johnson, where he’s actually smart and just puts forth a dumbass vibe to engender support with conservatives. More dangerous than just a dumb person

As opposed to Trump, who is actually dumb
